This is our first batch of home-brewed blackberry wine and mead.

Bottled, labeled, ready to go down into the “wine cellar” for aging. By wine cellar, we mean the space under the air conditioning duct in the garage, at least until we get a space set up in the basement in the farm.
Some of it will be brought back up to help celebrate Michaelmas on Tuesday, Sept 29, but it will still be very raw and immature. Mostly we will be celebrating with blackberry Liqueur, blackberry crumble, and hopefully some lamb prosciutto and fenalar. Or maybe some braised goose.
Which reminded Kathleen, who reminded me, we need to find a ram for our Ewes. We would like to have him in the pasture with them on or about Michaelmas.
