‘Cause a Man’s gotta work when a Man’s gotta work.

50 bales of local grass hay.

They were averaging between 50 and 55 LBs, which is about what Seppi weighs.

His job was dragging the bales down from the stack and across the floor of the trailer so I could pick them up and carry them into the barn.

It’s a big job for a little man, but he worked hard the whole time and moved almost all of those 50 bales by himself.

The best part of having a pile of hay is climbing on it.

He is even strong enough to jack up the trailer now, which is not easy to do.

We checked on the cider. It is still stalled out at 1.000, despite the yeast nutrients, probably because it is too cold and the yeast has fallen out of solution. I need to get it somewhere warm and get it down to 0.098 or lower so I can rack it off into secondary.

We also cut down the last of the bean vines and pulled the trellises. The sheep apparently love the leaves and pods of beans.

While Seppi whacked at our willow tree. Apparently that needed to be done, because it was fighting him. He had to battle it.
