Joiner’s Mallet

Just a little project in spare moments.

Something I’ve been needing for a while to help with chiseling for various other wood work.

It is amazing how much glue kept squeezing out of this joint. I would tighten it, scrape some glue off, tighten it some more, scrape off some more glue, tighten some more, etc.

After the last glue up.

After planing the ends and edges.

Hickory center sandwiched between walnut cheeks.

Seppi approved of it, for one.

Great, now he and Winnie have something else to fight over.

Uncle trying to build a winnowing machine that runs on a vacuum cleaner.

Let’s say, it needs some work.
