Dun Dun Duunnnnn!!!!
You have to clean up from it.
That’s what we have been up to, mostly, since last Saturday. Or, actually, Saturday before that. Time flies!
All the tubs and bins and pots and pans had to be washed and dried. Anything small enough went through the dishwasher, but some of it had to be rinsed by hand, and, because it is too damp and cool now to dry outside, we dried them in front of the stove in the shop.
It’s a nice place for a Winnie to toast her toes as well.

"I only remember the very first part of the book where he described the man of steel and velvet and I remember the deep chord that phrase struck. I remember the image I had of a hand of living steel wearing a velvet glove, a hand that could crush or caress, strike a killing blow or wipe away tears, lift mountains or cradle an infant. The rest of the book was an afterthought."
From an essay about Aubrey Andelin's "Man of Steel and Velvet".
