Cider fest is tomorrow! It’s coming fast.
Daddy had the day off work, so he was able to help Mommy out at CC (our homeschool co-op) in the first half of the morning. In the second half he got all the rest of the firewood split and stacked out of the way.

The new 8 Lb splitting maul really helped.

Lots more room for parking. Uncle Adam is talking to the neighbor to see if she can use her tractor to consolidate the pile some more to help make more room.

Mommy and Daddy took a break at recess to sit on the tailgate of the new truck and watch the kids run amok on the playground. Then Winnie came back to the farm to help set up.

We moved more apples from the basement to the shop.

Winnie may be small, but she is very strong. Because she is three.

We also un-tarped the quince trees.

Think we have enough apples? No? Don’t worry. There are more coming tomorrow!

We needed one more ingredient for the minestrone tomorrow.

A parsnip. (Winnie thinks it is a parsnip in a pear tree).

Flour for bread is ground.

We will be busy tomorrow, so we are making the sponge tonight. It can go in the fridge in about 20 minutes to sit until tomorrow afternoon.
Mommy has four dozen muffins going through the oven, and is taking a break to go to the store (all by herself, without any small tag-alongs!) to get some last minute stuff.
Daddy is going to the airport to pick up Auntie Mate in about an hour.
Almost ready. Tomorrow is going to be crazy! See you there!
