I am Ellie this is my Blog! Can you read it?

I was in my house, and I made an Ellie-crown. I made it out of a stick and flowers. Then I ended up in the middle of the field because I walked to get more daisies.

This tree is a walnut that should be a hazelnut. Mis-labeled by the nursery. Ooops. We will probably have to take this out because if it is allowed to grow to full size it will kill all the grass under it, part of which is the pasture.

This is my dad. “Hi! This is Daddy!” And this picture is a radish. A German radish called a runderschwarzer.

This is my sister Evie. She is wrenching wire to the pole.
(Translation: She is using fencing pliers to stretch woven wire fence around the fence post.)

Evie and Winnie are sisters! I took a random picture of this while my Dad is wrenching.
Ellie, did you know that that tool is not actually a wrench? It is a pair of fencing pliers.
What?!
It’s true.

Now Daddy and Evie are fence wrenching.
Translation: Daddy is using the fencing pliers to get the initial stretch on the woven wire, so Evie can hold onto it while I staple it.

Dad is hammering while Evie is fence-wrenching.
Again, it is not a wrench. Fence-wrenching is not a thing. She is holding tension on the wire, until I get it locked in place with the staple.

Winnie comes over and climbs on my lap, “What is that? Oh, Dad and Evie are working on the fence. That’s me with no shoes.”
Ellie: Evie feels tired. I start wanting to make lemonade.
I bet she is tired. She had to pull really hard to hold that in place.

Winnie: “Seppi!”
Ellie: “This is my brother, Seppi.”
Winnie, indignantly: “No, this is my brother Seppi, Ellie!”
Ellie: “He is filling in the hole.”
Translation: This was a quick job that we knocked out a couple weeks ago. We had the horse panel set up from some months back, but it will not keep in a chicken or a sheep, and we want to be able to run both chickens and sheep in that area to help keep the weeds down, so we stretched a scrap of woven wire fencing across the horse panel. Eventually we will buy some gates to close off the driveway as well, but right now we don’t have the funds, so that will have to wait. In the meantime, we can use the mobile electrical netting if we need to.
