Steers are on the North Pasture now, as of Monday, 5/5/2025.

Beautiful green grass, so juicy and tender looking, I almost want to eat it myself.

Uncle Adam running loads of mulch with a wheelbarrow. And when I say “running” I mean actually running as fast as he can.

Since we overturned and rebuilt the compost pile, and killed several rats in the garden, we have seen less rat sign. However, we have seen three rats near the chicken coop, eating the chicken feed early in the morning. So, time to set more traps.

And, just to keep the chickens from getting their silly heads stuck in the traps, we put an upside-down stock tank over them. Don’t worry, that will not keep the rats from getting to the peanut butter if they want to.

Dorky, you handsome rooster, you.
