Finishing the Gutters

Tuesday was the easiest day of putting up gutters I have ever experienced. This was true for three reasons:

  1. The weather was gorgeous, warm but not hot, with no wind.
  2. This side of the roof is low enough I can reach it from the ground. This makes moving back and forth much faster, since I don’t have to move a step ladder.
  3. I had help.

Winnie is such a good helper.

And so strong! But still so short.

And now we can collect water from the roof! One of these years we will put in some larger rainwater collection tanks so the chickens will be gravity fed automatically all summer! Won’t that be the day?!
