Our friend, Mr. Nicholas came to visit from Florida last weekend, and was able to come by the farm for coffee hour after Mass. the kids, especially Seppi, showed him all over the farm and all the things that have changed since the last time he was here. He’s done a bit of helping on the farm in the past, including with the digging and the fencing, and building the chick brooder.
And he learned how to harvest willow branches
And feed them to the livestock.
And Seppi showed him how to hide in the bushes. Even provided him camouflage, in the form of flowers to disguise head.
Sunday is a good day, when we don’t have to work on it. One of these years, we will retire from our life of crime, and be able to rest every Sunday as the Lord commanded.
