We didn’t intend to let this quince tree fruit this year, as it is still quite young. After the blossoms started to wilt, I pinched them all off. Or thought I did. Apparently, I missed four of them.

So it looks like we will be getting some quince fruit this year. They are odd little fruits right now, yellow, about 2 inches long and an inch and a half across, covered with very soft fur like peach fuzz. Hard as rocks.

They have sort of a wrinkle, like a dent, halfway down the middle of the fruit.

They all have the same exact dent.
