Thursday is usually a fairly short day of work. Thanks to some recent changes in Daddy’s work schedule, it should soon be a day off for both Mommy and Daddy! Then we will have a family day every week (until we fill it to the brim with errands and extra-curricular activities and such…)
But for now, we were able to enjoy an afternoon together at the farm after work, for a couple hours anyway.

Buckwheat has sprouted! (Yes, that sign said “Buckwheat” until it faded in the rain and sun. On our to-do list for next year is better signage.

The sheeps are enjoying the shade of their new shade-mobile.

We fixed some fence as well. Eventually Winnie got tired of doing all the ground work.

She decided to switch spots with Daddy.

Not bad for a couple hours of work. Chicken wire up to 8 feet, and electrical wire above to carry the charge out to the field. Three more sides to do before the chicken pen is completely enclosed, but that will wait for now. Right now getting more voltage to the electrical netting in the pasture is the main priority.
