We always have so many projects going on at any given time, but every once in a while there is a rare day that we can all come together and check off a few of them. Last Friday before Palm Sunday (Not Good Friday) was one of those days.
We had a coupon for $30 each off the price of up to three trees from a local nursery, so after work and homeschool co-op we all piled in the car and drove down to pick out and pick up some trees. This turned out to be an error in judgement as the trees were two-year-old potted trees (only slightly root bound) and too tall to fit in the car, so the men (Daddy and Seppi) had to go back to get them with the truck.

So now we have a Rainier Cherry, and Montmorency Cherry, and a Brooks plum (self fertile).

Then Mommy and Daddy went to the back of the pasture to document the fitting of the final crimp ring, and installation of the final frost-free hydrant.

Hey! It works!

And we even managed to get rabbit cages around the new trees before we called it a night and went home for supper.
