Diggy Diggy Trench

Ryan and Adam have really been pushing hard to get the water line in for the past year. Whatthis involves right now is mainly a lot of digging. The trench has to be extended to at least 18 inches deep, which means that it needs to be wide enough to stand in, and in most cases has to break through Hardpan. Ryan has been doing it and in lieu of his workouts for about an hour him morning, for 10 days now, excluding Sunday. Adam has been joining whenever he can in the mornings.

Found this little guy out there on the first day.
Some days we make 30 feet, rarely
Some days only 10 or 15
But little by little we creep our way down the pasture.
Early Saturday morning, digging, worth it, just to see the sunrise
Found the septic line
Even on cold days it is warm work.
Sometimes we run into big obstacles that we can move out of the way

10 days of digging so far, we’ve gone a little over 200 feet. About 120 left to go.
