This is one of the things we like about the Meishan pigs. They are super friendly.
They can be a bit skittish, and don’t like to stand still unless they are eating, and they get pretty nosey when they think you are bringing food, but they don’t bite or nip, and they don’t get aggressive. They don’t even nip each other. After years of working with various other mixed breeds of hogs, it’s a pretty noticeable difference.
Winnie still likes the pigs best out of all the animals.
She likes the chickens too but….
She is not sure what to make of the geese.
We don’t let them get near her. They are not friendly. They would definitely nip her if they could. They won’t get aggressive with grownups or bigger kids but they will totally bully the smaller kids and the chickens.
