You see, Kathleen had a pregnancy craving.
When she was pregnant with Winnie, that is. Not recently. This was two years ago. She had a craving for Doner, A greek-turkish kebab gyro that can only be found in Berlin. Ryan declined to toddle on over to the vater-land to get some, so she was left with unrequited craving. She survived, but…

As soon as some cheap flights cam across her radar, she bought them. And that’s how the kinder ended up with Deedee and Papa, while the grownups ended up bouncing across the pond after Saturday evening Mass.
