It has been getting cold for the last few days, well below freezing in the morning, and up into the upper 40’s/low 50’s during the day.
The farm has been very foggy in the mornings and evenings.
It is perched on a valley overlooking a river (not that you can see the river from the farm, but if you could see it, you… could… see it.) and the fog rolls up the valley and up the hill and envelopes the farm.

Evie had all the chicken chores done in 10 minutes, without supervision, including clearing the ice from their water.
Winnies’ favorite animals are the pigs.

She loves watching them, and will even go in the pen with them. She just doesn’t like it when they come up and sniff her.

These are the chillest and friendliest pigs I ahve ever seen. They don’t test fences, they don’t push or shove, they don’t squeal or nip each other. Hugely pleased with their personalities.

Ellie brought her siblings into the pigs’ homeless shelter to get warm under their heat lamp. Fortunately, pigs don’t poop where they sleep. Unlike chickens.
